Opening Celebration of Independence Way

On May 7, 2021, CAPSA celebrated the opening of Independence Way, CAPSA’s second transitional housing neighborhood, for families escaping abuse.

CAPSA’s Transitional Housing program supports more than 30 families throughout the community with housing subsidies, coupled with advocacy and education. In addition to community-based housing, CAPSA owns homes for families who may not qualify for traditional housing. Including Independence Way, CAPSA now owns and manages 21 housing units, allowing CAPSA to directly support more than 40 families. You can learn more about at CAPSA Housing.

Our Mission to Support the Dignity of Individuals

We believe individuals are the ones with the power to make a true difference in our community. By affirming the dignity of individuals, we empower them to live their vision without limitations. We grant individuals support regardless of their station in life, for dignity is given to all, and all are deserving; it is not determined by worthiness.

History

Dell Loy Hansen has supported CAPSA for over 20 years and has helped CAPSA build 29 transitional homes.
