CAPSA History
CAPSA is a nonprofit domestic violence, sexual abuse and rape recovery center supporting Cache and Rich Counties. CAPSA’s mission is to provide safe, caring and confidential shelter, advocacy, and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to reduce incidents of abuse through education.
Cache Humane Society
Diana Ribera, one of Dell Loy’s daughters, has always had a passion for animals, especially the ethical and humane treatment of animals. When she found out that the Cache Humane Society was going to be shut down due to lack of funding, she immediately took action. When she told Dell Loy about the problem, he began looking for solutions.

Caine College of the Arts MA Program in Choral Conducting Scholarship
Craig Jessop has been a leader in arts and culture in Logan his whole life. He has dedicated most of his life to growing the music and arts programs at the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University, and in honor of the work he has done, we created a scholarship in his name for the new Masters in Choral Conducting program. This program allows Craig to pass on his immense experience as a profession conductor to students at the the Caine College of the arts.
The Dell Loy Heart Foundation
Dell Loy’s intense involvement charitable giving in the wellness industry began with the University of Utah. Dell Loy saw the need for better research and development in cardiovascular medicine, which is why he started the Dell Loy Heart Foundation. Over nine million dollars have been put into this foundation, all with the goal to provide greater value and better outcomes for patients.
Tools for Schools
With a profound interest in the future of Cache Valley and its residents, the Cache Education Foundation (CEF) was founded in 1988 to enhance the learning environment for Cache County School District students from kindergarten through high school. Since that time, the Cache Education Foundation has channeled over 4 million dollars to our students and educators.
The Family Place
Dell Loy recognized the immense need to support and help those in abusive situations, which is why he decided to donate to The Family Place and help them build their current main building. He continues to support The Family Place and admires his mother’s vision and thoughtfulness towards those in need.
Utah Symphony
Dell Loy Hansen always looks for ways to support individuals within organizations. They began to identify unmet needs within the symphony, and the unmet need that stood out to Dell Loy was the musicians’ salaries. He decided to provide a donation that would augment the musicians salaries.
